Hi, I am looking for a different way to say these: 1. Environmentally conscious 2. Environmentally sound 3. Environmentally friendly None I can think of justify my going so far out of my way to avoid the preceding cliches. Does anyone have a creative synonym for these? Ideally I am looking for a concise adverb-adjective combo as is the format above, though "environmentally" isn't a requirement if there's a worthwhile alternative to it. Thank you. —Wilt Chamberlain
Personally I would not categorise "green" or "environmentally friendly" as cliches, rather as common expressions used for clarity. If you were to put it into this sentence "the writing was on the wall, we all needed to become more environmentally friendly, and, perhaps, if we corrected our course in the nick of time, then time might heal the wounds" then you would have a cliche.
