No, it's the same thing. They released it as Fooly Cooly in US so that the pronunciation as Furi Kuri wouldn't be lost and not be pronounced as eF-eL-Cee-eL

Well for one, Death Note is almost done on adult swim so that's out :D

Getbackers would be interesting to watch, I love the manga and I haven't seen the anime yet.

That Higurashi anime sounds decent so maybe I'll get into that and that first one I can't even pronouce so...I'll leave it at that^^

There's an anime that I think came out a few years ago called Vandread that's still fairly new that I wish adult swim would play and also No ei an is a good anime in my opinion

Vandread is really good, I liked it a lot, although the animation in the second episode is....eww. I'd like to see Bokurano instead of Noein.

I have so many. We are pure Japan freaks with my husband and watch all kinds of Japanese shows/read manga etc.

    Some of my favourites are:

    Honey and Clover
    Great Teacher Onizuka
    Bleach
    Fullmetal Alchemist
    Baccano
    Blade of the Immortal

Well, there are many. And I love all the Miyazaki movies. :)

Now, to me, Full Metal Alchemist is one of those rare anime shows recently that are really good and not too long or difficult to understand.
I liked Bleach before it became popular in the states and sadly it turned into a fan-crazy anime like Naruto.

I keep hearing about Great Teacher Onizuka but I know nothing about it, what's it about?

God, what is it that you really know? XD;; GTO is about a gangster that decided to be a teacher because he wants the younger generations to be successful or something like it. It spawned a manga series, and anime series and a drama series.

You're thinking of Paranoia Agent. Pretty good one. But FLCL is awful! I hated that series. Couldn't get passed the second episode.

And no prob. Just don't tell anyone I told you. haha

Crunchyroll has good shows, it's got Higurashi and Zetsubou-sensei and Kappa no Kaitakan and Hungry Heart and Saint Seiya movies and drama series and japanese/korean movies.

Because of licenses, lots of fandub and scanlation groups stop when a series gets licensed

Yeah, which sucks. I never finished Naruto because of it though I managed to watch the last episode before Hurricane Chronicles started.

Paranoia Agent!! That's it!! Why in hell couldn't I remember that?

You watched the fillers? Good thing I don't watch Naruto (God knows Kishimoto is only stretching it now...)

I feel bad for Naruto for becoming such a fan-crazy show. I remember when no one even knew about it or even read the manga until the anime came to the states and suddenly everyone wishes they were ninjas. The show died after the Naruto/Sasuke fight but the manga remains decent.
