I crawl onto you, and kiss you, as we lie on the covers with flesh against flesh, burning bodies locked together with your curves in my dips, fitting like pieces of a puzzle. Our fingers curl in a tangled mess while our tongues dance together in the dark. As you breathe out I breathe it all in, filling my lungs with your air, letting my body absorb you. We blend into each other, feel at home with each other, and the rest of the world melts away and disappears. We tell each other secrets and play truth or dare. Dare. Dare you to hide me in your arms and protect me…

It's an odd book, and a bit hard to quote from as there's no traditional 'dialogue' but I figure it is a character quote.

Mind you this is a loose translation...
But my favorite quote is something along the lines:

"She: i'd more likely be bored by a meaningless conversation with someone i don't know.
Him: for me it's quite the opposite. I'd be bored by the known, for it brings nothing new and lacks charm.
She: i'm sorry but i don't believe in the charm of the unknown.
Him: I on the other hand. Believe fully in the charm of the unknown."

    -Mihail Drumes

(In the last line he calls her unknown in my language hard to make the play on words work properly in english)

From my book, The Last British President. A political thriller.
My main character has a confrontation with his antagonist:

“Are you aware of what is going to happen on Friday?” he asked.

    “Día de la Revolución?”

“It’s a little more than that this year,” he said, with a short explanation of what he knew was about to take place.

    “This changes nothing whatsoever.”

“I will lose my country, Clara. Can’t you see that?”

“It isn’t your country and you are not my president.”

A new novel I’m working on called Hello, Little Sparrow.

“You haven’t even begun to feel what I’m capable of, Detective,” The Sparrow huffed, situating himself more comfortably in the backseat.

“Capable?” My hands trembled on the steering wheel. “There’s more to it than just killing pedophiles when they aren’t looking?”

The muzzle of the pistol pressed into my back. “You sounds confident for someone with a gun at their spine. You trust my principles too much, detective. Sometimes it difficult to make out our principles through all the fog.”

I made a promise that if anyone so much as harms a single hair on her pretty little head, that they would have to answer to me. How unfortunate for all of you.”

(Queen Elizabeth is angry with Essex, who is sort of Robert's, the MC, annoying step brother)
Dear Christ, I have not the patience!” she continued. “Nor will I, ever, have such patience as that. Patience for fools! Patience for failure! I should rather wish him dead that my troops may not miscarry!”
Despite himself. Robert could live with that.

Well since all the other stories I write are in my own language, I will share the quote from the only story I was writing in English :D

"You can't measure people's sins from war the same way you measure it during peace."

Not exactly my MC, but since it's from one of the four most important perspective characters, I think narration from Elizabeth's perspective is close enough. And I do enjoy being able to use ones I've got within completed text.
(The Queen is being hosted by the Earl of Southampton, one of Essex's friends and supporters, shortly after the news of his disobedient behaviour before that had stirred her up)
"Yesterday’s dinner, they had discussed honour, chivalry, St George, forms of loyalty and French love poems. Today she intended to watch Southampton squirm."

"I don’t fear weakness, unlike you, Morrow. But neither do I fear to destroy you.”
Tundra to his once-friend when an office feud enters the real bloodthirsty stage.

“Hey Dillon, you wanna come here and bend over for me, maybe we could work something out.”
Morena's mocking offer to a drunk man who kept hitting on her after being informed she's a lesbian. She's actually a female-leaning bisexual, but not where he's concerned.

“Am I happy about what we did to those POWs? Of course not. Were the results worth their injures? You’re carrying our work in your brain now, so you be the judge.”
Nora Dunkirk to a newly-augmented Destreza worker.

"My species are kinda like ants. Every few generations, a queen is born, except my mother didn't like the idea that she had a potential rival colony waiting to happen. Sucks when even your little sisters turn against you for no reason."- Sylvia Roscale explaining why she's hundreds of miles from the nearest lamia tribe.

    An odd one for you:

"Where are we going?" Sarah said.
"I'm not going anywhere- I'm dead, remember? Where are you going?"
    "I don't know."
Sarah’s mother looked back at her. "Don't you think you should?"

Something I realised I quite like, from one of the darkest scenes in my novel:

'I can't do it anymore,' Kramer moaned again. 'I can't...'
After a few minutes, his hands stopped shaking. His heartbeat slowed. The tears stopped coming, and he raised his head and breathed.
'I don't have to,' he said. He looked up at the moon and shook his head. 'You can't make me.'

Mostly because of that last line. Won't sit well with a lot of people, but I like it.

(Robert the MC is trying to finish a letter while the rest of the household is returning to bed, his wife Elizabeth approaches him to get him to leave it)
Elizabeth- “And how much do you expect to write at this hour? And if you don’t sleep how well will you fare tomorrow?”
Robert-(deadpan) “Are you suggesting in attempting to be productive with my time I am in fact wasting it?”
(Elizabeth chuckles and offers him her hand)
