My first thread- hooray! Alright, the goal of this game is to redecribe a given sentence using an unusual or over the top figure of speech, either personification, metaphore or hyperbole. Example: Let's say someone wrote: "It would be very dark soon, as the sun was setting, and there would be a new moon tonight." the next person rewritten using a figurative language: "It would be very dark soon, as the sun was just about to end it's shift for the day, and the moon had called in sick." The new version doesn't need to be perfectly precise, it just has to present the the basic idea of the original sentence. After they rewrite the sentence of the person before them, they make a new sentence for the next person. Such as: "The stove was heated up the water, causing it to boil." then the next person rewrites it, like before. "The heat of the stove made the water very uncomfortable, causing it to throw a tantrum." and so on... also, if you like, you may write more than one new version of the regular sentence: "The stove began giving the water-molecules in the pot ADHD, making them extremely hyper and excited, many of them attempting to jump up above their bretheren, and out out of the pot." Alrighty then, I'll start This off: The food smelled horrible.
