I can already see where this might be a problem with scammy "publishers" dropping in, but where might one post a link to a magazine accepting submissions or an active, off-site contest? I ask because an established* author I follow just posted up information about an SF/speculative fiction contest with cash prizes that members here might be interested in having a go at, but I'm not sure where or if to share it. Spoiler: established Paolo Bacigalupi, winner of the Hugo, Nebula, Locus, and other awards. Not some fly-by-night dude looking to drum up clicks.
as its a contest put it in the main board of the contest forum... if it was about a publisher accepting submissions it woulkd go in the publishers sub forum under trad pub scammy spammy publishers will get banned under the no advertising rules
