I honestly have no clue, but I'll take a stab at it since no one else has. After reading Harry Potter in a room with very little oxygen, I held up my octopus hands in joy and decided to write a story in a room with slightly more oxygen. Everyone thought it was a great idea, and I got many hugs of support because my disability of having octopus hands made people like me. That was until the black market organ snatcher showed up in his hat and shades ready to chop off my octopus hands and sell them to the highest bidder. The auction ended in six hours so the organ snatcher had to move quickly. Is that at least in the ballpark?
Well I thought it was obvious Read / think / enjoy / vote / Thanks from the authors / Consoling the losers / Winner tips hat.
Darn close! - Read - Yes, read the contest stories. - Think - Yes, think about which one you want to vote for. - Enjoy --- Nope, not that I don't think readers will enjoy the stories. There are some good ones there. - Vote - Yes! - Thanks from the authors - Yes! - Consoling the losers --- Nope, not what I had in mind, but I like that story version. - Winner tips hat --- Nope, close again but not the winner.
I suppose this one could be congratulating the winner. This could be tipping a hat to those that took the time to vote. There are all sorts of things this one could mean. Cheering for: a character, a story, or maybe it's not cheering and those are actually hand weights. It's exercising while waiting for the votes to come in. Hell... I don't know.
Close enough to win. - Read - Yes, read the contest stories. - Think - Yes, think about which one you want to vote for. - Enjoy --- Nope. Cheering the voters on to vote. - Vote - Yes! - Thanks from the authors - Yes! - Congratulating the winner. - Yes! - Tipping a hat to those that took the time to vote. - Yes! Four and a half hours left to vote, one chance to break a tie and four chances to to make a three-way.
Our contest mod is MIA but I consider Welcome to Stalebrook to be the winner and it wouldn't be fair if that author lost when voting should have been closed. I don't have mod powers in this subforum. @Lilly James Haro has a busy university schedule. She'll be around soon.
Hello, I am not dead and I am very very sorry that the contests have not been updated. They will be updated now and results posted. Thank you @GingerCoffee for holding the fort
