Was it the question mark or just the fluff that made you look?? eh eh eh . . . By the way, i'll probably post something, sometime. in the mean time, tell me aboot your prospective works so i may read them!! Cheers, jamie PS: Hi heather!
Welcome to the forums, Jamie! I hope that you enjoy your time here, and that you find the resources useful. What kind of thing do you write? If you need any help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm always happy to lend a hand.
I write stories... mostly fantasy... i like reading stories too... not so much poetry. not a big fan of poetry.
You can read mine if you like. ^^ It's linked in my signature. Click on the word 'blue' Welcome and enjoy yourself! I hope to read something by you when you post it up.
Sounds cool. Will you be posting some of your work up for review? If so, there is a requirement that you post two reviews on other member's works. Just a way of ensuring that everyone gets a fair critique of their writing Oh, and I'd suggest you take Alice's advice and read her story. It's rather good.
Yeah, thats to be expected. i'm still editing two stories... so my post might take a little bit yet. cheers, and will do alice.
Hello jamie, Welcome to the Writing Forums. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room on this site, therefore, is a true workshop, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work. See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information. Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!
Welcome to the forums! Its good to have you here and I hope you stick around If you need anything, just ask.
Great to have you here, any further questions let us know and we'd see what we could do, see you around the site!
It was neither! It was the potential to raise my post count actually! lol just joking. Welcome to the forum Jamie, I hope that you have a great time here with all of us here at WF'org. I look forward to seeing you around the boards and hope that you venture into the contests that I am running in the weekly writing group. Well have fun, enjoy and see you round the boards. Torana
