    Hello,

Usually I just bypass these introduce yourself forums but guess I wanted to give it a try this time. no real reason other then it's a chance to write more and if I really want to dig in to this website then I should approach it from as many angles as I can.

I am starting out writing a bit later in life then i would guess most people do, 35 to be exact. although I have spent a lifetime reading books, mags, newsletters, essays ect. I love a variety to genres but usually always find my way back to horror.

Being a horror lover I naturally read a lot of Stephen King and Poppy Z brite but also like, Chekhov, lovecraft, poe, rice and more authors then I have the time to include.

Anyway I need to cut this short for my energy fill 6 month old is all go go go today

Hi Dead Moon, welcome to the forums! I like horror too, except I like collecting those junk horrors from the 80's - Zebra horrors. But I thought the Dell Abyss line was the best. See on the threads!

Hi, and welcome to the forum. :)

I love horror, too. I just recently read a very subtle horror novel by Sarah Waters called The Little Stranger. Very lacking of gore, but quietly creepy.

Here's our New Member Guide to get you started. :)

    Have fun!
