Greetings from the land of Oz. A place where the bunnies are six foot, there are teddy bears in the trees and they measure rainfall in meters. Nearly twenty years ago I decided to be a writer, I had three children's books published in the UK and then the publishing house went bankrupt... I've often wondered if that was the universe trying to tell me something. Anyways... after many decades spent roaming this little rock of ours, I've settled on a little eucalyptus fragrant island in the tropics. The mission now, should I chose to accept it, is to wade back into the world of writing and hopefully not sink anymore publishers. I'm starting small and trying to get some work published in magazines and gradually build a portfolio to help sway those pesky publishing houses to put my works in print and on shelves around the world. Somehow I can't shake the feeling that it all feels a little like busking at the moment. Work, the one that pays the bills, keeps me very busy and time is in short supply, but I will post some work in the not too distant future and I'd appreciate some crit and comment. Thanks and happy to be apart of this community.
