Hi, I was surfing the net and decided to try a writing forum. I've written a few things over the years but nothing really major. I recently wrote some short stories and a poem and thought it would be fun to see what others beside my family think of them. Any tips to inhance my writing (besides spell cheak) is appreciated. From what I've seen so far this looks like a fun forum to belong to.
Welcome to the site! I'm glad you found us. As for writing tips I suppose that's to general to answer so simply. Tips are going to be different for each writer. You could post some of your work for review and get tips that way.
welcome to the site Jberg, always nice to see new faces around here. well, post osme of your work up, show us what you're made off, join in the discussions and word games and hopefully have a laugh here, we're all really freidnly, if not slightly loopy. if you need any help or anything reviewing then please feel free to send a PM my way and i'll be more than happy to help.
