Once went to a performance of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues. At one point the actresses led the entire audience in a reclaiming chant of 'Cunt! Cunt! Cunt!' Many faces were streaked with tears of joy.

Anyway*, back on-topic, I also agree with @peachalulu's filters and @doggiedude's weasels.

    *Danger – possible weasel sighted.

It means being opposed to maintaining a separation of church and state.

It means being against the disestablishment of the Church of England! It doesn't apply as a functional word anymore, only in Victorian times. When that was an issue of much debate. Meh. I suppose you could still be an antidisestablishmentarian today. Is that a word? Or would it be antidisestablishmentarianist?

NOW YOU KNOW! *points finger of god at Wayjor Frippery*

Cunt is a great word. I used to work in a builder's pub for some time, and the word is thrown about it every context. "Oh, you daft cunt!" "Haha, you silly cunt." "You know Rick? That guys a funny cunt." "YOU CUNT!"

    One word, so many inferences......

On the other hand, I love the word Twat, just because it sounds funnier.

    Thanks guys.

Note: If you see a Brit (guilty) being self-deprecating, they're probably lying for comic effect.

Those tired clichés make great placeholders, though, don't they? They're almost as good as Word's bookmarks for finding places in the prose that need a dab of originality. ;)

I never knew that. Thanks, @EdFromNY!

And now that I know what it means, I guess I'm into anti-antidisestablishmentarianism. :)

I use twat so much that my 60-year-old mum has started using it casually.

Ah, the truly rare triple negative! Such as Thurber's "not unmeaningless".

Regarding lady bits, I've stolen the German word of "Mumu" in speech. It sounds too good not to use, honestly.

What's worse, your 60 year old mum using it casually, or my mum thinking it means 'pregnant goldfish' in casual conversation.

Note: goldfish lay spawn, they can not be impregnated. I win.

"Oh, stick your love truncheon in my swish mitten," she/he/the talking lamp said.

"No, I detest beating around the bush," she/he/it replied.

Err... how far does the TOS let me go with a joke?

Taboo words? Nope. Every word I write has a rhyme or reason. Thyme is in season.*

    *Disregard

I dislike using ANY word excessively. I try to not repeat words too often. If I need to get rid of a word I just hit the red ink and edit.
