Not seen this bad boy in the cinema for over a decade (i am ignoring that one in the 2000's). This trailer has an arousal level of over a million, enjoy:
Looks a ton better than that steaming pile Emmerich and Devlin put out in the late 90s. Plus it has Bryan Cranston!
Do you mean the one with Matthew Broderick? That was just abysmal. Every time it comes on I'm amazed it was made to the latter half of the 90's and yet the dress and style all looks straight out of 1986. It's like Breakin' II: Electric Boogaloo with a monster thrown in.
That looks amazing... And, I know everyone hates it, but the one from early 2000's with Ferris Bueller ( ) in it has a special place in my heart. You see, I was 8 when that movie came out, and there was no way that I wasn't going to like it. And even though I recognize the badness of it, I still like it
Godzilla. Cloverfield has that parasite issue that puts him at a disadvantage. You know that shit has to be itchy. How's a monster supposed to fight when he's itchy?
Sure, Godzilla can breath blue jets of radiation, but I think Clover has the reach and can drop those mini-clover monsters as well.
Does that mean he's an itchyosaurus? I thought they were, like, giant fish lizards. Stayed in the water and all that.
I remember reading once that itchyosaur remains are often found together with hydrocortasaurs in the fossil record.
No he isn't an ichyosaurus, they have those long beaks. I always thought Godzilla was a Gila Monster that evolved into Godzilla after being exposed to radiation.
Oh my Gosh! Yes! I will be seeing this. I was pleased but skeptical when I heard they were making it. When I saw the first trailer, I was excited. Now I'm just like, "C'mon! Can I praise the king of monsters yet???" This movie looks so promising.
That movie confused me when I first saw it. Mainly cause my uncle had showed me a lot of the original Godzilla movies. So the entire movie I was waiting for Godzilla to come and beat down that weird giant lizard female thing laying all eggs. You can imagine my sadness as the real Godzilla never showed up. But I did get my wish In Final Wars when Godzilla killed the she beast
I've never seen any Godzilla films before, and when I discovered they were making yet another one, I just groaned, both inwardly and outwardly. But just half an hour ago I was on YouTube and saw the trailer on the homepage, so I clicked it. And man, is the trailer good! Of course I love that Cranston's in it D), but I also love the dark tone. I love dark films, so this is great. Does anyone know what age-rating it will be? Just curious.
New poster for the movie. That is huge! I don't think he's this huge in the movie because there is a clip in the trailer (around 2:12) where you can see his head and neck between two buildings. I don't you'd be able to see his nostril between two buildings if he's as big as he is in the poster.
I know the bit you speak of, where he is roaring, however he does look like he is kin of hunched down as he does so, even so, that poster makes him seem inormagantuamagnetum big.
Even the monsters in that one video game where you pick a monster and tear down buildings are THAT big. That's seriously ridiculous.
Wasn't he that big in the original film though? Obviously i was not around when it came out (unless i age flawlessly), but from what i have seen he is sooooooooooooooooooooo big that he can just level a city in a few stamps...as he always did....in sim city....the butthole
No in the 1990's flick his head was about as tall as the buildings. Then in King Kong verses Godzilla they were about the same size, yet King Kong had to climb the Empire State Building and could fit inside a building for display. Something here is amiss.
