    Gothic horror story

    Im working on a gothic horror story idea as well as my dark fantasy short stories Im at the momment trying to pick a location that would be condusive to character development.

    Setting has little to do with character development. Choose the setting that your story demands, and the character development will follow more or less independently.

    That is true however I think it can affect the characters personality I think of it like that.
