I'm salutorian for my graduating class this year and have been asked to prepare a short speech. I want to choose a topic that will hold the audience's attention and does not particularly echo the standard graduation speech. Any suggestions?
Haha this is hard. If you want something that is not cliched, then you should perhaps utilise an extended metaphor to draw out your point. Or, break the rules and recite a poem.
