Grammar Nazi's LOL!! Question about copy/pasting onto Writing Workshop.

Discussion in 'Writing Software and Hardware' started by Hannibal Alexander, Jun 6, 2013.

I just copy/pasted something from Google Docs to Writing Workshop, and I noticed when I did that the formatting was all messed up.
is there a different way that you would suggest posting stuff here.
I don't know how much formatting has to do with grammar (probably not anything)
just wondering... my spaces and indentations and italicized parts were all taken away when I posted here.

That will happen no matter the platform of origin. Google Docs, Word, Pages.... You will always have to reformat from within the forum with the formatting tools.

Have you read How to Use the Writing Workshop? I bet you didn't, because that question IS addressed there.

    getting back to the question.......................

all you have to do is hit the 'edit' button and insert a line break wherever an indent has disappeared...

I'm still trying to figure out how Grammar Nazis even have anything to do with formatting.

Formatting and grammar are two separate issues.

He was also an architect. I lived in a building designed by him in Berlin. ;) True story.
