    Greetings from Canada

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Stevehwonder, Jan 24, 2018.

    Hi Everybody,

I'm a short fiction writer who is perpetually shooting for publication and gazing up at the monolith of novel writing with great apprehension.

I like to write realistic (sometimes funny [mostly by accident]) fiction, horror, and lo-sci-fi.

The Oxford Comma is a precious species in dire need of our protection and love.

Always happy to edit or discuss story ideas!

    Cheers.

    Greetings from a fellow Canuck!

And I'll support your Oxford comma fetish if you approve of my love for the sensual semi-colon...

I'll never say no to hyperbolic punctuation!

We've cast off the yoke of British oppression down here, so you can keep your Oxford comma.

Never to late to convert, my friend. The Comma holds its arms open wide to all who would embrace it... I kid of course, punctuate as you see fit!

Hi there. Welcome to the forum. We're in the same boat, except not from Canada. And I suffer every day knowing it'll be a long time before I'm in a position to try out Canadian bacon. But then I feel better knowing I'm from America. See you around.

Unfortunately the John Candy movie is not an acceptable substitute.
