Yup, the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy fanatic has arrived. Well, a little about me... I'm known as Mad Madam Mimm, or (deep breath) Mimmi Gigi MacVittieBikkie Yakko Stitch Warner the Odd. I have strange friends who feel the need to give long nicknames. But most everyone knows me as Mimm. I'm in 6th form college at the moment, and I've been writing stories for as long as i can remember. This looks like the place to be for developing skills properly, though (since most of my teachers have seen creative writing as "a waste of time" ) so it looks like i'll be sticking around. As you've probably gathered I'm a bit of a nut and I love my cartoons, especially ones from the 90s. Thats pretty much it, but if you'd like to know anything, please dont hesitate to ask (whilst baring in mind I may hesitate to answer)
Hello Madam Mimm, Welcome to the Writing Forums. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum).
