So I'm not really new. I had an account but it's been so long since I logged in I can't remember my screen name or even which e-mail I used to register it. So here I am, again. A little about me. I'm a shipping manager for a small local company. I used to be a mechanic but it turned out it's not a very good fit for me. Although it has provided me with a couple of interesting insights for some of my characters. My current WIP is at about 25,000 words. About a month ago I learned the hard way to always save a back-up, it used to be coming up on 40,000 words. I have a couple of finished short stories and more than a few stalled ideas.
Well if we are going to meet and then confess, then so be it. Greetings fellow keyboard abuser, who claims of being here before. I was shocked to find this. Live and learn I guess...? O_O
HAHA Cave Troll. I haven't seen that. Gave me a good laugh. And yes Marcus it was painful. Now I save a backup in a different folder and another on a flash drive regularly. I'm not totally certain of what my missing 15,000 words were. But it did give me an opportunity to rewrite some scenes I didn't know how to fix.
Hello! I hope you manage to rewrite well, and enjoy what you make. And remember this; at least you got up to 40, 000. Some people are yet to be that productive. Enjoy being back in the forums!
