I'm Max, Pen name Jonas Grant because... Uh, well there was a reason, originally, but I was eight years old back then, so let's just say because it sounds cool. I've been writing since I was eight and started writing in english two years ago, I never liked most defined rules outside grammar and basic things that make a story non-painful to read, and always felt like my stories lacked something... Until the day I picked up a book by David Gunn. At the first page, I felt shocked by his use of the present tense, but decided not to be such a tight butt (Mostly since I had already bought the book) and read trough the novel knowing from the first chapter that with a few tweaks, that present tense, first person point of view would be perfect for me. I have no illusion that I am an average writer and have the focusing ability of a Gold fish, but if you look past my unique style and inattention mistakes, I can guarantee you'll have a good time reading my stories. Not a great time nor a blast, but it'll be fun, might even get deep. As for myself, there isn't much to say, I'm nineteen, planning to be either journalist, paleontologist or Canadian Marine Intelligence officer, whichever comes first. I'm not complicated, keep an open mind and be polite and we'll get along just fine.
