Greetings! I'm very glad to be here. I am very new to writing. I have had a story in my head for quite a while and decided to try to put it into writing, even if it is only for my own pleasure. 7000 words later, the story has barely begun! This could end up being an epic!! My genre is science fiction with strong character focus rather than tech or action focus. In truth, it's a little fantasy I indulge in when things in my life get tough. I imagine being offered the opportunity to leave my life behind (except for my kids, they come along too) and head off into space to start a new life. Anyway, I have heaps to learn and look forward to the adventure.
