    Greetings

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by GhostOfARabbit, Jul 12, 2021.

    Hello everyone!

I registered here because I was searching for a story writing forum.
I'm always looking for some writing advice, tips and tricks. I have never written a serious book respectively I have never written seriously in general. By "serious" I mean taking into account the characteristics of stories (e.g structure, turning points, resolution etc.)

I would like to change that now so that I can write proper stories.
I don't plan to get puplished professionally (at least not yet). I am a total beginner despite the fact that I started writing stories at an early age.

So I hope to learn from this platform and to get some new impressions!

Hey Ghost, welcome to the forums.

It's great to see you're not throwing too much pressure on your back. The problem with most wannabe writers is that they think just because they can speak and have fingers, it means that it will all come out perfectly when they commit it to a keyboard. Then they get angry and rage quit when it doesn't turn out as Shakespeare first time. The best writers are the ones with your attitude, learning and practice is all it is. Don't beat yourself up when you make mistakes, learn from them and carry on. :)
