Had to Laugh

I just got a rejection letter in the mail today. It was quite unexpected,seeing I sent the story off about 3 YEARS AGO!
I knew these publishers were slow, but come on!

 

Oh wow! Talk about a delayed response! Haha

 

At least you got one!

 

That is funny. Next time you should send a follow-up letter.

I wonder if they found it on the floor, under a desk....or something. LOL

 

That is unusual. The slowest rejection letter I had did take almost a year, but the company was also in the process of relocating, which slowed everything down.

 

That does make my anxiety about waiting four months (so far) for a response where three months turnaround was promised, a little... misplaced.

 

Yikes. 3 years?
Oh man. And here I was panicking because I'm not even done writing yet.
