    Happy actual St. Paddy's day

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Alice in Wonderland, Mar 17, 2008.

An Irish holiday that the English use as an excuse to get smashed!

So it wouldn't fall in 'Holy Week' most celebrated Paddy's day last Saturday, on the 15th. I'm not Christian so I'm celebrating today!

    Enjoy! P=

Being Irish, I took full advantage of my day off yesterday, spending it watching our local parade and participating in 'age-old' cultural activities. Needless to say I'm paying the price today...Major Hangover!!

This year was possibly the best St. Paddy's day I've had. I worked in the morning and ended up helping some members of the band "The Pub Uglies" with some patch cables. After I got off work, I went to Molly Malone's (as per tradition) and who should be playing there but The Pub Uglies! They were awesome. They also recognized and got me free beer. All in all, it was amazing.
