Why not share ghost stories? This Halloween a friend of mine and I dressed up to hand out candy. We had fun with our costumes, he was a super hero and I was a pirate. We both decided to take pictures to remember the happenings. It was pitch black outside, so I put the flash on my camera and had a parent take the picture. I stole my friends sword and speared him under the arm; my attempt at a dramatic pose. When I looked at the pictures about a month later, between our bodies there was a light orb. I was so freaked that I deleted the picture off of my camera. Now, I am well aware it could have been light reflecting off some dust, or some such happening. But I still like to think that something was there with us. Has anything like this happened to any of you?
Wow, I am fascinated by the paranormal. I do not quite know if I believe in ghosts and such, but they still intrigue me.
I've had loads of experiences with ghosts. Some stories would make your hair curl and others are just plain nice. Must be something about me that attracts them. I have a little girl called Emily that follows me around the house sometimes. When I looked into her I she said that I used to be a friend of her Mum and she likes to come and visit me. Just for your information; I don't know of anybody that's had a daughter of that name let alone any child that has died. Our house has a couple of male ghosts that don't like each other too. Talk about bangs in the night!
I am so fascinated by the paranormal, but I wish I could have had more paranormal experiences. I remember when I was about twelve or thirteen years old my cousin and I were going to sleep over at my Grandfather's house. We decided that we were going to sleep in the bedroom downstairs. I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep when I began to hear tiny whispers fluttering across my ears.... I never told my cousin about what I heard, but when I asked her if we could go upstairs to sleep she was just as frightened as I was....
I have seen things out of the corner of my eye in a house I grew up in. It was supposed to be haunted. I have never seen this ghost who visits me whenever I started thinking about my father. It is my grandmother. she comes and tells me that my father is a coward and a bully and I should not let him upset me the way I do, since that only makes him do it more. She always did help me when things went bad even though she lived far away from us. Funny thing is she hasn't come around since my father died last february. I guess she has decided since he is gone I don't need her support now. She never showed herself it was just a feeling more than anything.
I could not imagine how I would handle a ghost sighting. I am such a coward when it comes to things like that. It is ironic how attracted I am towards the supernatural, but yet I fear them more than anything.
Sometimes when I'm in bed, I feel like someone blows on my face. It's really weird 'cause it's not a draft from the window since I always close it at night, same with the door, and I don't feel it all over my face, just certain spots in my face. Even when I cover myself completely I still feel it.
I played the Ouija a couple of times with a few friends, each time one of them started laughing maniacally, really creepy. But I've never been a real seance.
I think that you actually need to have a spiritual medium present with you during a seance. Sometimes a seance can get pretty serious or even dangerous.
My sister's a pretty good medium. I guess it must run in the family a bit. If I ever want to know who's hanging around then I just go and ask her. She confirmed the story about Emily (the little girl) for me without me having to give her any details like what she was doing, the clothes she was wearing and where it happened in the house. I've always been close to my grandmother too. When I was young she used to put her arms around me whenever I was upset. It was never spooky; completely the opposite in fact.
A seance is when a group of people attempt to use their energy to communicate with the afterlife. Usually people go to a haunted location, turn off all of the lights, sit in a circle, hold each other's hands to combine their energy, and try to talk with the spirits in that location. Sometimes if you have a very strong spirit communicating with the group, that spirit may attempt to use one of the members of the seance to speak. I can't really remember the exact term for that situation, but it's basically like being possessed and can be very traumatic for someone.
