Hi everyone, it's nice to see all of you. My name is Kaia, but many people just call me 'K' because my name is kinda hard to spell and say. Feel free to call me by that, or just by my username, Green Grass, or just 'Grass' will be fine. I guess I should explain how I found this wonderful place called writingforums.org, huh? Well, I had just recently decided to get away from one of the Forums I was at for awhile. I won't give names on the Forum, for that would be rude and putting me accountable for it. But, I found this site while browsing many others on Google. Since I love writing, I couldn't help but come here, consider it's about teens as well. So I hope you accept me here. I have some likes and dislikes, but I'll tell you all what I love the most! Writing is my favorite subject in school, and it's one of the most creative out all of them, along with Art which shows the creativity through pictures. However, writing shows it through words and text that you can't describe from a picture. Writing has inspired me alot for stories that I am currently working on to make into books in the future. I also love to read, so if you have something interesting, make sure to notify me and I'll check it out. ;D I am also a fan of Dogs, any kind of dog I like, and will love them all the same. I play video games rarely, but every once in a while, it will become an option. I love roleplays, if you have a suggestion to me for one, just ask, I'll check it out and notify you if I will join or not. I love cooking, and will currently try to take a cooking class in High School. I am a 14 year old young writer who puts alot of heart in stories and pieces. I'd like to hear what others say about my writing. Everyone has their own way of showing writing, and mine is beyond what others think a 14 year old could accomplish. Hi! I started seriously writing (as in comprehensive stories) when I was around 13-14. Back then I was able to write a poem so touching it make people cry. But now it's another 14 years and I feel the spell is gone. Maybe you are not at your best and don't realize it. But either way I can't tell because I don't get any feedback on my works. Anyways, nice to meet you. What do you write about?
Well, thanks both of you. I write about alot of different things actually, but my mind is based off of the least thought about stories. I have a few of them, but here they are: The Lord's Touch (Book 1) Runaway Seven (Book 1) Reflecting Sins (Book 2 to Runaway Seven) Ocean Dancer (Book 1) Golden Gates (Book 1) Silver Roads (Book 2 for Golden Gates) The Flute Player (Book 1) Saltwater Skies ( Book 2 for The Flute Player) Raven's Swarm (Book 3 for The Flute Player) All of these, are ideas that were least thought of. I have currently been working on Chapter 4 for The Lord's Touch, Chapter 2 for Runaway Seven, and Chapter 1 for Ocean Dancer.
Not as much, but I hope to at least get one of those books completed. I really want to show others how I can get things done.
Yeah, it seems like a load of work. And here I was thinking that working on 3 projects overwhelmed me. How is it coming along? Can you keep writing it down before you forget all the ideas?
Well, Sang Hee, I don't forget my ideas as much as creating them myself. I can tell you, If I work on different novels, I'm sure to learn from each of them on my own. Well, it's good to see you then, Steven! I just found this site and joined in for the fun of writing! However, you've seen the long list I have to write my books. Hope they turn out alright.

Posting your own writing for people to comment on should not be among the very first things you do here anyway. It is worth taking the time to see what other people have done to improve their writing, and see if some of it applies to your writing as well. That is part of why we require members to review other members' work before posting their own for review. On the other hand, there are no restrictions, other than content and copyright rules, on showcasing your work in your member blog. Also, be aware that posting a piece of writing on any public site, including this one, will greatly diminish your chances of selling it for publication. Removing the writing later does not alter that fact - once posted, it is irreversibly considered published. So do not post anything more than a small excerpt of any piece you are planning to submit for publication. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Hmm, well, I usually have a few different kinds of Genres coming around and such. Alot of them are mainly having to do with Fiction, (Due to talking animals in The Lord's Touch) and maybe some Action as well as horror and maybe a Thriller as well as the ever so common Violence. In the three stories I have been working on, these are the genres for it: The Lord's Touch: Adventure, Fiction, Runaway Seven: Action, Violence, Thriller, Tragedy Ocean Dancer: Thriller, Romance Other than that, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. ;D
Alright, uh. It seems you have the same approach as me. Don't care about the genres. Just write. My book (though fictional) is a life story and in one's life all kinds of stuff happen. This story needs to be told and so there's no use in narrowing it down to only one genre to describe it.
I don't really think about genres as much as the main point in the story. But that is a good tip though. :3
