Hello all.

I'm hardly new but I've been away since God was a little boy. I got a bad case of moderator burn-out and it kinda turned me from my writing, so I needed a sabbatical. Don't know how many folks are still with the forum from back in them days, but for those of you who are, hello again!

It goes VERY well for me, thank you! Since my previous incarnation as Wreybies the Super-Mod I have since changed jobs. My old job was sucking the essence from me like Skeksis on a Gelfling. I now work solely for the OSDOJ, District of Puerto Rico. I am no longer tied to that hateful telephone and I am given the respect of professionalism that I myself give to my clients who are D.A.'s. It's great. How are you??

LOL Yes, we did! Seriously, I completely respect what you have to say on that subject. I really do think we are of like mind. We may come at it from different angles, but what a boring world it would be if we all "came at it" from the same angle, aye?

 

Yes, and I often say (even here on this forum) that it would be a boring world if we all agreed all the time. I give virtually no thought to theme. I feel that it just kind of emerges (or doesn't).

 

That last bit made me giggle. It's true, sometimes the theme just never arrises. Trust me. I've a stack of unfinished 'novels' that never managed to give me that most rare of fruits, a theme.

I remember you mentioning your old job around the forum a few times. It's great that you're liking your new job.

Pretty good. The weather has been great lately, and I've been working on my goal of losing 10-15 lbs by running/jogging and playing a lot of basketball.

 

Excellent! I'm always pleased to hear someone making a positive goal and going for it. I myself could use a little of your gumption. The 'middle years' make for a much harder time in loosing those extra pounds added during the holidays. LOL I mean, It's May and I'm still talking about Christmas weight!
