    Hello.

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Belleflower, Aug 4, 2013.

Hello, I am a recent College Grad, I just got my BA in Art History and Art Education. I have always loved literature and view writing as a creative process much like art. I loved Literary Crit in High School, and really enjoy reading, but am very picky about books. I really like a book that is strong on details and character development and not all about plot. I hope to strengthen my writing skill and ability to give feed back here.

Glad to be here, Look forward to getting to know some of you better.

Nice to meet you. Would like to read a short story of yours, or something of the like that demonstrates what you mean by character development vs plot.

Have you read any Neil Gaimen? He started out writing graphic novels, so his attention to detail is stellar. Read "Neverwhere." It's excellent at doing what it is you're trying to accomplish.
