How mamy words should a story be when I post one? is 3,000 words to much?

Hi, welcome to the group Cormel. I don't know the official length. 3,000 isn't too much but it's sometimes
best to post snippets as the readers can feel overwhelmed with critiquing anything over five pages.

On Smashwords, 20,000 words is described as short, 50,000 as full length, and 100,000 as epic. I think there's a fourth classification somewhere in there.

3,000 isn't even a novella, dude. I guess it could be a short story, for sure.

you should never post an entire story that you hope to have published one day... just post a couple of brief excerpts...
