Good day all, I'm a bored teen with not much to do in the holidays, so I'm hoping to develop my writing skills. I'm looking forward to interacting with the community here
I see that new members can't post in the workshop; is there any other way that my work can be critiqued? Thanks in advance
You should have received a private message from @Wreybies that explains how it works, but you have to have 20 posts and 2 constructive critiques of other people's work in the workshop before you can post anything of your own.
Yup. Also, 2 weeks of membership with the forum. These requirements are based on similar dynamics present in live writing groups and the better internet writing forums out there have similar requirements. Without them, the critique process in any forum turns into a situation where everyone posts their work and waits and very little happens because there's no community expectation of reciprocity. Members who join as Supporters can circumvent the 2 weeks and 20 posts, but the 2 constructive critiques given per every new item a member posts is always a requisite for all members, myself included.
Hello there! I'm also from England And, get this, I'm also a newbie Have you written anything yet? What genre of writing do you write / like?
