It's been years since I gave any real thought to creative writing. As seems to be the case with many here, the distractions and demands of life got the better of me and an aptitude I once took pride in faded. Recently I was complaining about the lack of really good new literature (complaining about random things being a second hobby of mine) and I was told bluntly that if I didn't like the options available I had an obligation to see if I could improve the situation. The logic of that haunted me so here I am, dusting off a half remembered passion. I won't pretend that my work will be inspired, especially at first. Truth is, I'm really quite rusty. That said, I am really looking forward to reading the stuff posted by everyone else and maybe helping nudge their journey along with a few of my own thoughts. Anyway, the point of this vague introduction was simply to say hello. So, hello.
