Hi everyone, I am a new member of the forum who would like to be a part of the community. For close to 10 years now, I have maintaining a free blog and submitting (mainly poetry) in different places. If I could sum up what I want to get from the forum, it would be to improve my writing - whether that be from critiquing or being critiqued. In truth, I am not the most apt when it comes to communicating online and usually feel more than a little lost, but I am sincere and enjoy the conversation. Thanks for stopping over to read my intro. Hi Talltailor, I'm fairly new to social media (it's scary right?) I'm old school and think Facebook is the devils work. What do you mean it's not Seriously though I'm nervous about all things social media. I'm here and I'm making the effort for the sake of my book, which for some reason has driven me to do all sorts of things I wouldn't normally. I'm also looking to make my writing better by being here and learning new things.

I'm currently writing a paranormal dark comedy with a sci-fi twist at the end of the trilogy. But if I was to be nailed down on one specific genre it would sci-fi. Yes I would love to have an outside voice comment on my writing. Family are okay, but are never going to be super critical which is what I need right now. The first two chapters are finished but completely unedited.
