I've been signed up for like two weeks now and reading your posts, and I figured it's way past time to write my first post. So here it is! I write fantasy and a little bit of sci-fi, but I read just about any genre. My favorite series is probably Anne of Green Gables, but I also like Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Hunger Games, The Fault in Our Stars, The Time Traveller's Wife... I recently read Before I Go to Sleep, and that was pretty cool. Tides of Honour by Genevieve Graham is next on my reading list. I'm also a manuscript editor because as much as I like writing, I feel like I'm even better at helping other people with their creative works. When I can help someone find clarity in what they're writing and make their book what they dreamed it would be, I know I've found my calling But I'm a writer too, and I've had a bit of a dry spell lately. And that's not good, because I'm working on my first full-length novel. I'm looking forward to continuing to read all of your posts, join in on the conversation, and be inspired Outside of that, I'm a musician (singing, piano, violin, guitar, Irish whistle, mandolin, et. al.), DIY-er, proud spoonie, and volunteer marketing coordinator at my church. I'm happily living the small town life with Jeremy, my husband of going on two years. And I love love love gifs. So if you have a great gif, I want to see it!! P.S. There is no Amish mafia. Since someone always asks xD
LOL I'm not Amish. I just live near a lot of them. Although you'd be surprised how many of them have cell phones with internet access. Thanks for the welcome!
I also believed you were actually Amish . Be welcome, and have a lot of fun around. Of course, if you have work, I'll check it out, and it's great that you help people around with their projects; wonder about the plot of your novel, and which genre is about. Be well, and welcome again!
Thanks Andrew I'm writing a fantasy novel about Ms. Eda, a seamstress who received a prophecy when she was born that she would save the world. But now she's in her 70s, and it still hasn't come to pass. Everyone thinks she's a little crazy, but she's keeps waiting for her opportunity. So when she gets a letter from the fairies, she drags her apprentice, Audra, and Audra's fiance along on a wild trip to find the fairies, stop a war, and save the creatures that keep the world's magic from self destructing. I appreciate the welcome!
