Hi there! It's been a while since last time I wrote one of these. I'm a Literary Studies graduate from Barcelona, Spain, but I've been living in São Paulo, Brazil, for a couple months now. The change of airs and the oppressive loneliness one usually feels after finishing college made me nostalgic of the days when I could just call my writing friends to hang out. We'd just read each other’s idealistic works and shout honest critique over some beers and cigarettes. That sense of community around the craft of writing used to make me feel like I belonged and I miss that. So here you have me. My writing level in English isn’t good (hell, it ain’t even decent) but I’m sure there’s a lot to be learned here and lots of cool, literature-savvy people to meet. Eventually I could even get out of my comfort zone and write something in English just so I can share something too. Who knows? One can dream. Anyway, I hope to have some fun around here.

Welcome! It is a fantastic feeling to surround yourself with others who have similar passions. That is also partially why I joined this online community. Maybe there is some sort of writing group in your area that you could join.
