Good afternoon! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Stacey and I'll be turning forty at the end of the year. Yikes! I've been an avid reader all of my life and have always wanted to be a writer. The bug bit me hard a few years ago and I started writing like a maniac. I'm working on the last draft of my first novel and get a bit overwhelmed with the details. Taking that next step has never been so terrifying. I'm originally from New York City but have lived in a few different places; Germany, Louisiana, Florida, and currently Utah, just north of Salt Lake City. Glad to be hear and I hope to learn a lot. Welcome Stacey! I live in Utah too (I don't say that I'm from Utah, because like you, I lived many places before ending up here.) Good luck on your last draft! It's always hard to decide to just let it be done and stop fiddling with it.
It's doing my head in. I'm giving myself a deadline of two weeks to stop mucking around with it. Very! I still have a little under 5 months to go. Surprised I made it this far! Thanks to both of you for the welcome!
