Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Bethany35, Aug 8, 2015.

    hi there,
    my name is Bethany.
Am a new writer here from England hoping to keep my creativity going.

Welcome to the forum Beth! It's definitely a good place to hone and maintain your creativity. Here is a handy guide that has a section specifically addressing your question (although the whole thing is well worth reading):

    All the best :)

    Hi Bethany,

    Welcome to the forum.

You need to be active on the forum for two weeks and also offer some critique to existing workshop posts before you can post your own work.

Look forward to reading your prose. ;)

    Welcome to the forum :superhello:
The first two weeks wait can feel like a pain, but it does stop people just coming here and posting their work and giving nothing in return.

Welcome to the forum, the two weeks will fly by. The reason for the two week rule is because if it wasn't there then everyone would just become a member and spew their work all over the forum for critiques and not do critique theirslef or anything else. If you have any question make sure to read the New Members starter guide that @Sifunkle pointed out.

    Enjoy yourself!

Welcome @Bethany35. The two week wait is actually a really good thing. When I joined I would've put something in the workshop straight away if it wasn't for that rule, but I actually ended up waiting a lot longer than that because I was learning such great stuff on here :D
