    Hello, World

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by boyh11, Sep 6, 2019.

Hi there. I'm an emerging writer of biracial origin based in Seattle. I write mostly (creative) non-fiction and satire. Some of my influences include Chinua Achebe, J. G. Ballard, and Emily Bronte. I'm currently working on a satirical novelette about a fictional micronation that exists in a partially-occupied office building in downtown Providence, R.I. Looking for crit!

P.S. How do I go about posting in the critiques sub?

    Welcome!

I am very intrigued to see what a "micronation" is. I know what it sounds like and I'd love to read it if/when you publish. It sounds like the mice are organized and running things in the building.

Creative non-fiction sounds good! Can you tell anything more?

Satire? I love it if it can stay out of the dystopia of Cynicismlandia.

Micronation in partially occupied office building? I love that!
