I want to introduce myself, I have thought about writing for awhile but have never done it. I am active with the local community theatre in my town (Etowah, TN) and have acted in some of the plays we have put on. I love to watch plays and wonder if I could write a play someday. I want to learn more about writing and how better to express myself with the pen. I can express myself verbally since I am a mental health counselor but writing seems to me a whole different ball game.

Hi Calabash! I visit a mental health counsellor, and I think he'd agree that writing is a different ball game. But if you're interested enough in learning to express yourself through writing, you'll learn and love it.
