Hi to all. What a great place this is - I really like the many categories and will probably spend most of my time in the poetry section as well as the books. I live in Cape Town, sunny South Africa where we have all experienced the miracle of a peaceful transition to democracy thanks to my hero, Nelson Mandela. Words have always interested me more than numbers and it was while at high school that I discovered my love for writing and reading. Poetry was the best! I have posted a number of love poems on two web sites and am amazed at the response received. I ahd no idea that what I consider to be a normal "creativity" can benefit so many people who have used my poems to send to their loved ones. Reading plays an important part of my life and am fortunate that my two daughters have taken to reading as well.
