Hi everyone! I'm in my 40s and live just outside Portland, Oregon. Since the age of about 14, my writing inspiration has come and gone in phases, and I'm looking to get it rekindled. I write fiction, although as far as what I'm reading goes, it's been a lot of non-fiction lately (true crime and memoir, mostly). I want to start reading more fiction again, since it's what I write. Though I guess you can learn from true crime about how (or how not) to pace a story. Horror fiction is also fun. I'm newly single and bought a house last year. Now that (most of) the craziness has settled, I hope to find inspiration here as well as writing and editing tips and techniques. Nice to meet you all!
