Sooo. Uh. Oh! Hi! My name is Candice. I am, obviously, a writer. I've been writing since I was 15, but back then I was not so good. I had trouble keeping tense straight, and... With pretty much everything else, too. Heh. I'm glad to say I've come a long way since then. So, I do short stories, novels, poems, and lyrics. I don't favor writing a specific genre, though I think if I did, it would be fantasy or fantasy/sci-fi-ish, maybe. I have some alright realistic fictions, as well, bot for the most part, I really enjoy the out of this world kind of fantastical stories like fairytales or a Tolkien-esque adventure when I'm reading, and some of that seems to bleed through, I feel, in my writing. I have a book published on LuLu.com, actually, and I'm working on a few others, but right now I think I want to focus on rewriting the first novel I ever completed, which I started when I was 15, and finished when I had just turned 17. Like, within a month of my birthday. So, what I'm hoping for here, is to find some people who can help me with rewriting all 48 chapters by giving opinions on what needs to be added to, removed, rewritten, or any spelling or grammatical errors. And not just in the one book, but with all my writing, so I can get even better. Soooo yeah... Hi!
Nya! Hey! Well, I'll totally help you out! I'm really into writing also . I, however, have always had a nack for writing and yeah. But! The good writers are the crap writers who never gave up. See ya round!
Hello Candice, Welcome to the Writing Forums. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room on this site, therefore, is a true workshop, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work. See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information. Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!

Such a warm welcome from so many! Thank you all, and hopefully I can get fully settled in no time at all! Ah, the poetry competition! I wonder that I should hold off until I find a theme that pulls me... I throw a little competition of my own on gaiaonline.com, actually. Its quite similar to what I'm seeing with your own here. So, thanks again for the warm welcoming!
