Hi Everyone! My name's Hannah Membrey, and I'm 18 and I'm passionate about writing. I don't think there's a day that goes by where I'm not thinking about one of my stories or concocting a story of some shape or form - whether or not they make it, that's another question! I'm a bit kooky and crazy and I have a wild imagination. I love to write, I love to read, I love music especially Eartha Kitt and classical music, as well as movies from most genres! I love to travel, and am moving to Scotland next year for that sole purpose. I'm currently in the process of writing three stories - one as a tribute to my fave author Jane Austen and is Pride and Prejudice set in the modern world from a teenager's POV, a story about a cancer patient and Death, and a historical fiction set in WWII I think that's about all - if you wanna know more, all you have to do is ask! Bye for now, but not forever! x Me
Hello Hannah, Welcome to the Writing Forums. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well! As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information. Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!
Hey Three stories at the same time?! I know I wouldn't be able to handle that. In addition they are very different topics: - a teenager's Point Of View - a story about a cancer patient - a historical fiction set in WWII Good luck by the way!
