Heya, new member, just thought I’d say hello.

Hey, I’m Simon! Just thought I’d say hello. I love reading people’s ideas and work and look forward to being a part of this.

A bit about me: I’ve enjoyed writing and reading since I was a kid, but kind of drifted away from all of that as I got older. I don’t know what changed, but I sat down in March of last year and plotted out an entire story in a day. Covid I guess? Either way, writing kind of consumes my thought process most of the day usually. I have a cat named cat and a possum that lives in my garage.

I’m currently working on an LGBT coming of age/love story, a lot of which is based on my own life experiences growing up (guess who took write what you know a little too seriously lol).

And that’s pretty much it. So...hi!

    Hello!
That sounds like quite a productive day, I hope that you're enjoying writing.
I've not done any creative writing since school but now have a few ideas buzzing around my head, the first of which was also a coming of age story! I've recently got married, relocated, given up various jobs and volunteering roles and found new jobs and volunteering, so I guess that I'm also writing about what I know. But my ideas since then have included historical fiction, which was even more of a surprise.
