So, I'm not too good at introducing myself...but hello everyone. Call me Charms or Cee...I don't have a preference and I'll answer to both. But anyway...I don't think my writing is all that great, however, I have alot of people tell me otherwise...and one of my friends...(he's around here somewhere) bugged me to no end until I joined this site...so I figured I'd come and check out the site and eventually post something....(once my stupid computer gets fixed). Well, that was my share of rambling....*sighs* :redface:
Hello Charms, Welcome to the Writing Forums. A dissatisfaction with one's own writing is, I think, a good omen. Dissatisfaction drives the effort to improve, and every writer has room for improvement. I despair for the ones who feel they have arrived at the summit; they probably have, and where do yopu go from there? If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Writing Workshops, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well! As for the Writing Workshops, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. Dear Writer, Welcome to one of the fastest growing writers forums on the web. I’m sure if you hang around long enough you’ll begin to make new friends and enjoy becoming a participating member of the writersforum.org. I would just like to welcome you to the insanities of WF.org.
