Hi all from a Christmas Day with an outside temperature of 87 F

I'm shima (small s), and I potter about a bit with words. I know lots of theory but am lousy at putting it into practice. I'll lurk around for a while getting to know the website.

    Welcome shima. :)

It's 7:11 in my slice of the world and just about the same temperature you mention in your thread title. Make sure to read the welcome PM you will have received from me upon joining. There's good information therein concerning our Workshop and other areas of our forum. ;)

Hi Shima. I'm in Arizona for Christmas. Got about five inches of snow on the ground. Very pretty.

    Welcome :)

You must be up North. It rained all day yesterday here in the valley.

Hey Shima, it`s definitely not hot here where I am. PA tends to have cold winters, though there`s not much snow this year which is sad because I kinda like white Christmas. Hope you enjoy it here, it seems to be a fun community and you can learn a bit by poking around.

My wife was talking about driving up to Sedona or Flag tomorrow. I had to remind her that we're in possession of a fourteen-day-old baby.

It snowed pretty hard here (Colorado Front Range) this morning which was great but it didn't last long.

Unless things change quite a bit you won't have trouble getting to Sedona from the south. More snow and ice areas closer to Flagstaff on I-17 and it has been snowing again.

Still, can't be too careful with a baby traveling with you. Congratulations!
