Hey, it's Robin0999. Seeing as only one of your members have the slightest idea who I am (and that particular member probably thinks I'm the mindless, idiotic baboon I once was), I'll introduce myself. As I've said, my foruming name is Robin0999. My real name is Sam. You can either call me Sam or Robin. Simple, right? good. Anyway, some of my hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, video games and being a total geek. I wrote my first story in the fifth grade, and I've been hooked ever since. And before you ask, no, you can't read the fifth grade story, If you did, I'd have to Kill you make you read certain posts from my first forum a couple years back. Trust me, that's a fate worse than death. Anyway, I'm not happy about my past, I'm not athletic, and I hope to have a good time in the future with you guys. See you then.
Hello newcomer, Robin, Sam, person. Nice to meet you. You're a geek? You'll fit in just fine here. This forum is full of friendly geeks (including me), so don't be too shy or afraid to speak up. And I'd love to see some of your work when you have it posted.
Thanks, nice to meet you too. It'll take a while to muster up enough courage hiding somewhere in my small, frail, 14 year old body to actually post something here, but, I am writing something at the moment. In the mean time, it's DINNER TIME. Be back later to chat. *walks away* OOH! Steak!
Hello Sam, Welcome to the Writing Forums. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well! As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information. Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!
Welcome to the forums, Sam. Don't hesitate to ask one of the mods for help if you need it. I hope you enjoy it here
Hi Sam/Robin. I'm pretty new too and I'm a geek beyond all comprehension, so I think we can all agree that geeks do in fact fit in here. =P
Hey, and welcome to the Forums. This is easily one of the most active writing forums on the net, be prepared for some REAL feedback, you're going to become a much better writer.
