    Hi!

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Bittergrace, Feb 3, 2008.

Not much to say. I'm a wannabe writer like most I guess. And a freelance editor (which I get monies for, unlike writing so far heh).

I like forums. What can I say?

welcome, bg!... what do you edit?... i often have to turn down requests for help from writers whose work has violent content, so am always on the lookout for good editors to take them on...

    love and hugs, maia

    thanks guys!

mammamaia- I edit pretty much anything. I've done a couple novels (for friends), and the paid work is generally website copy or academic papers. I don't mind violence though :)

Wow. I remember this place! Had a newbie writer I'm helping ask me about forums and remembered this one. Talk about a time machine.

Figured I'd update my intro thread, just for funsies. I'm now a full time pro writer making solidly 6-figures a year. I remember the arguments I used to get into around here about self-publishing back in like 2010 and stuff. How times shift, eh? It's funny to read my old post from 2008 and see how far I've come.
