Anyone know a sci-fi universe where the plot revolves around spiritual or psionic forces? Simply *having* them doesn't count, the story has to involve it to a large degree. I can't think of any besides Star Wars, Farscape, Dune and Warhammer 40,000. TVTropes has failed me here.
You might find this more suited for video games than other kinds of media. When I think of alien zealots, Halo's The Covenant comes to mind for me. Also Dead Space and Bioshock.
