New kid on the block here (if I can call myself a 'kid' at 50!), and just getting my feet wet in the writing pool. I've scribbled here and there, but nothing serious, and as I seem to have more time on my hands these days I'm eager to improve my (lack of) skills and produce something worthwhile for a change. My primary areas of interest are in the old-school hardboiled and noir genres of fiction.
