Whereas many of my childhood classmates have gotten success, I, having suffered from mental illness, was not able to achieve the same. Though I did little schoolwork throughout the years of my childhood and youth, when I was in college I worked as hard as I could; but because my symptoms halted my progress, and did not fully diminish, I was not able to obtain a college degree. And I have struggled to think and to write, for most of the time I have tried. But I hope to overcome this problem, and to write great works for profit. I know that I will not earn abundant money, but as all good writers make some money, and enjoy writing and being read, I have a hope of also doing the same.
