Hello all, I love horror stories and writing short stories all though I am extremely new to it all. I am currently attending school for my bachelors degree in writing for film and television. I've loved horror since I was a very young kid and watched the exorcist at age 5 with my dad. I hit the ground running from there.
I really love Cats, Bats, and Rats, also very fascinated by praying mantids. Looking forward to making some new friends and meeting some new people here as well as improving my craft!
During my spare time I enjoy playing games, drawing, and reading.
I have 6 pet rats, a dog, and 3 kitties. I love animals.
Anyway...I've probably left a lot out but if you wanna know more just ask! :)

Horror fan here as well. My dad was the culprit as well, though I tended to watch more science fiction horror with him than anything else. Now I read a lot of horror and write some of it, so I'm excited to see what you can do. I study it as my master's degree specialization, so I do know a thing or two about the genre. Good times.

I may have you beat on animals. Currently with four cats (2 are kittens), four turtles, a hamster, a guinea pig, and three fish tanks that encompass various regions. I love animals too.

    Welcome!

Welcome, I think you'll like it here. I too like rats; when my daughter was younger we had two pairs of them, two females and after they passed away, we hand-raised pair of males. Wonderful pets and I miss them.

Regarding Kentucky, I've been doing family tree research and my family lived in Kentucky in the late 1700s and early 1800s -- Tick Creek, near Shelbyville, to be precise.

    Anyway, again, welcome.

You watched the exorcist when you were 5 years old? The only way that you could top that is by BEING exorcised at 5 years old. ;)

I'm a fan of horror, too. I was Edgar Allan Poe in a previous life*

    Welcome aboard. :)

    *Not officially confirmed... yet...

I started reading The Exorcist in my teens. I got to page 3, nothing had happened but it was coming. I closed the book and put it down. I then thought better of it and put the book outside my bedroom, closed the door and filled the terrifying void with Bob Marley on my walkman. Never saw the movie. I have a stomach for horror since, but never wanted to go back to that one.
    Welcome.
